Boston Frisbee is a recreational pick-up frisbee group organized by a few individuals that focus on bringing an all-inclusive, safe environment for Bostonians to play ultimate frisbee. It was created for beginners and experts alike who have a passion for playing frisbee and meeting new people. As a result, we follow these three tenants:
- All-Inclusive: Welcome everyone to the group regardless of their gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc... There are no expectations or judgments of performance. With that in mind, we don't coach our players, we don't keep score, and we support everyone for their efforts, regardless of skill level. Ridiculing - everything from "name calling", to laughing at another person's skill level or their background is strictly forbidden. View our All-Inclusive Policy.
- Fun: Playing ultimate frisbee is one part of the equation. People are the other part. Exhibiting sportsmanlike-conduct is highly encouraged. With that being said, the following are strictly prohibited: name-calling, competitive jeering and physical aggression. View our Fun Policy.
- Safe: Do not take risks that could potentially hurt another player or yourself. Our organizers are equipped with a full first aid kit and will soon be receiving first aid training. View our Safety Policy.
