- 9/07 -- Boston Ultimate Frisbee was formed by Joe Baz
- 11/07 -- Bostonist article "The Joiner: The Illuminated Frisbee Nighttime Throw-Around" written about the Boston Illuminated Group
- 3/08 -- Boston Illuminated Frisbee and Boston Ultimate Frisbee joined together to form Boston Frisbee
